The Board of Directors is very pleased to announce that Mr. Andrew Plyler is now the camp director for Summer 2016. Drew’s camping roots reach back deep to his days as a camper at Monroe, and to various staff positions at Camp Monroe.

After completing a degree in Recreation Management from Appalachian State University, Andrew has been employed in faith based camping positions around the state. His dedication, enthusiasm, and creative initiative will be a big asset to Monroe Camp and Retreat Center. Andrew, we welcome you back to Monroe.

Come to Open House Sunday, June 5 from 2 to 5PM to explore the camp, take a swim, meet the Summer Staff and  Drew
