Let us bring Camp Monroe to your Church!
Community Camp is a weeklong unique blend of outdoor and congregation ministries with lots of fun group games and crafts. It’s a joint effort between Camp Monroe and your Church.
Camp Monroe will provide staff, activities, programming, art supplies, game equipment, and Bible Study curriculum. The Church will provide the location for the Community Camp to use to get kids in the Church. The curriculum is provided by Camp Monroe, we strive to choose one that is Christ-centered. Our staff is trained to interact with different age groups.
Hybrid Community Camp
From Monday through Wednesday, our Camp Monroe team brings the adventure to your neighborhood—leading faith-centered programming, games, crafts, and friendship-building right to your community. These days are full of connection, exploration, and spiritual growth in a familiar setting.
On Thursday, campers will have the choice to come to Camp Monroe and enjoy everything we have to offer at overnight camp: swimming, adventure, worship, The Feast, and an unforgettable night on Camp. Pick up will be on Friday around lunch time! It’s a seamless bridge between local community and immersive camp life.
On-site Community Camp at Your Church
Each weekday (Monday through Friday), Camp Monroe brings our staff, supplies, and carefully crafted program to your church location, creating a week filled with spiritual growth, and community. Campers enjoy classic activities — crafts, group games, bible study, and more — all infused with a faith-centered perspective.
This option allows kids to experience camp within the comfort of their own community, forging friendships, growing closer to God, and encountering adventure right at Church.
Our Community Camp Purpose!
The purpose of our community camps is to assist the community and the church in providing Christ-focused outdoor ministry for children and youth to learn about God and to get connected to a Church. During this time, we hope to get youth engaged with one another in activities and get them excited about your Church ministry and a life with Christ. Our hope is that your Community Camp will be a program of youth evangelism and outreach for your church. This is why we would love to have volunteers at Community Camp.

The greatest strength of Community Camp is the people. Camp Monroe Community Camp teams are comprised of young adults who are chosen for their Christian commitment, work ethic, and love of children. They are trained to lead Bible studies, camp song, crafts, and children’s behavior management. The uniqueness of Community Camp is our flexibility. Camp staff will work with each church to design a program specifically to meet the strength of your church and its site. We love to include the community this way.
Some of Our Favorite Community Camp Moments!
Base Camp
With this Community Camp option, we are at your Location the whole week, Monday-Friday. The hours will depend on what the church will decide on. A basic layout is from 9 am to 12 pm for a half-day or a full day could be 9 am to 4 pm. We will work together to see what works best for your church.

Hybrid Camp
Hybrid Community Camp is designed for kids to have the Camp Monroe experience at Church and at Camp! We spend Monday- Wednesday at the Church, then on Thursday campers will have the option come to Camp Monroe to spend the night. Campers will be able to do activities that they can only do at Camp Monroe such as the ropes course, the giant swing and playing on the water toys at the lake.
- Ages 6-14
- Campers spending the night must be 8 years old and older for staying overnight. Campers 6 and 7 may come to camp for the day but must be picked up by 5pm.
- CAMP MONROE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORTATION

Young Base Camp
We offer a Community Camp geared towards younger children. This is designed for churches that have younger children that want to experience camp. Younger base camp is a half-day program and will be at your location Monday-Friday.
